EQII Character Account and Server Transfer Service
Players can transfer their characters to another server both in and out of the game. If you would like to transfer a character or characters from your primary account to your secondary account, or wish to transfer to a different server, we are offering the Character Transfer service, described below in detail. This is a value-added service, which will necessitate that a fee be billed to your credit card. For added convenience, we have introduced an in-game Character Transfer service, which can be accessed through the Marketplace.
This service may be modified or cancelled at any time without prior notification. If, in its sole and absolute discretion, SOE decides to modify the Character Transfer service, there will be no "retro-active" transfers for characters that were moved as part of the Character Transfer service.
With regard to your character's information that is maintained on www.eq2players.com, please be aware that transferred characters will not retain statistical information accrued prior to the time of transfer for any of the following categories: adventure leveling history, tradeskill leveling history, server and server-wide ranking in relation to adventure or tradeskill leveling history, and server-specific item discoveries and guild information. Items first discovered by your character within the entire game of EverQuest II will be preserved.

All terms and conditions of the EverQuest II User Agreement and Software License and the Rules and Policies located at http://everquest2.station.sony.com apply to any attempted account transfer or transfer of characters. You will not be allowed to transfer any characters to an account that was not originally registered to you or is not held by you.
Character Transfer Fees
Transferring a character on the same SOE account from one server to another server:

Terms and Conditions
Character Transfer service fee can be paid with U.S. currency or, for server transfers initiated from the EQII Marketplace, with Station Cash™.
If your destination server is not listed, please check again in 24 hours.
Shared bank slots will not be transferred with your character. All contents of your shared bank slots, including items, armor or containers, must be removed or relocated to another character prior to the time that your character transfer occurs, or such items will be permanently deleted. Deleted contents will not be reimbursed or replaced.
Items belonging to a Trustee of your character's housing will not be transferred with your character. Any Trustees of your character's housing should be informed that they will need to collect all items from your character's housing prior to the time that your character transfer occurs. Once the character transfer has begun, the items will no longer be retrievable and will not be reimbursed or replaced.
For server transfers initiated through the Marketplace, the transferred character must be at least level 10 and remain on that active paying Station Account (which must be more than sixty (60) days old).
Transfers cannot be completed for characters who currently have items for sale on or coin available for collection from an in-game broker or who have in-game mail; please remove or collect any such items prior to initiating character transfer.
Character names are not guaranteed upon transfer; if a character's name already exists on the destination server, a new name will need to be entered in the provided name change field.
A character's guild affiliation will be removed and the affiliated guild will lose any status points contributed by the transferred character.

In-Game Transfers
To access in-game character transfers, open up the in-game Marketplace and purchase a "Character Transfer Token." Follow the prompts to transfer your character to another server.
Additional notes:
In-game character transfers currently do not allow account to account transfers.
Purchase of the Character Transfer Token is not required for characters being transferred to Exchange-enabled servers as such transfers are available at no cost (see "Exchange-Enabled Servers" Terms below.
Token and related transfers are non-refundable.
Non-Marketplace Transfers
Characters can be transferred between accounts or between servers by calling the Technical Support Department at 858-537-0898.
In addition to any applicable fees described above, if you are a resident of a European Union country or territory, you will also be charged VAT (Value Added Tax) equal to 17.5% of the applicable fee.
Exchange-Enabled Servers (operated by Live Gamer™ Exchange)
U.S. Residents Only: Participation in the Live Gamer™ Exchange service is open to U.S. residents only and is only available in U.S. currency. Non-U.S. players may play on an Exchange-enabled server, but they will not be allowed to use the auction service. Please visit the Live Gamer Terms of Service for additional Terms and Conditions relating to the Exchange service.
Permanent Moves: This transfer service will permanently transfer a character from a non-Exchange-enabled server to an Exchange-enabled server. Once you have transferred a character to a Live Gamer Exchange-enabled server, you will not be able to transfer it back to a non-Exchange-enabled server, although you may be able to transfer to a different Exchange-enabled server to the extent such a server is made available by SOE in accordance with the standard EQII Server Transfer service guidelines, restrictions and fee schedule.
Currently, characters may be transferred to an Exchange-enabled server at no cost; however, such transfers are subject to certain restrictions, including the inability to transfer droppable or tradable items, armor, containers, coins. Any such items will be deleted prior to the transfer of that character, including coin in a character's house or bank. Shared bank-vault items will not be transferred. Deleted contents will not be reimbursed or replaced. Any item that is transferred will have the value associated with that item reduced to a negligible amount. In addition, these characters will be removed from their guild. All transfers will take place in accordance with the guidelines and restrictions of the Character Transfer System. To move characters between accounts, the customer must own both the transferor and transferee accounts. These changes must be made through the SOE Technical Support Department at 858-537-0898. Character transfers between accounts that are independently owned must be done through the Live Gamer Exchange service.
